DP S2-E34 - Phoning it In

After 15 minutes of trying to figure out how to get out of doing this week's episode, the DP guys finally settle on a few topics. Like how to get out of doing a show when you don't feel like it. They finally manage to discuss school, vietnam, and Sweden. It turned out pretty funny despite Steve's and Paul's best efforts.

DP S2-E33 - Sweden

Mike Hill of the Stockholm band Badmouth joins the DP guys and they talk about life on the road and Mike's Indiana family. Mostly, it's as though the three old friends were just sitting around chatting and decided to record. In other words, it's hilarious and interesting. If you're lucky, you will not miss this episode.

DP S2-E32 - ShaZack

Steve returns with stories. Funny stories from the land of rolling hills and tall corn. First, the guys discuss last week's show and dig a little deeper into the Pokeman Go! phenomenon. It's about more than just hunting Pokey Men. Then there are the stories. If you miss this episode, you will not know what everyone is talking about the next day when they say, "ShaZack". Don't be that guy.

In the Breaking News Segment, the Don't Panic Radio Show names their potential nominees for the Supreme Court and discuss buying the gun that killed Treyvon Martin. Steve pumps up the Championship of ComedySportz, to be hosted in Indianapolis (June 8-11, 2016). Then, Steve lays out why a Trump presidency isn't what we should be worried about. And there are the usual segments - Super Fan James Blog Reading, Joke of the Week, and lots of curated music (by D.J. Paul).

This one's about a week late, unless you caught it on Radio Free Indy last week. The good news is you get two episodes this weekend - Episode 17 comes out tomorrow! And now for the show...

Paul finally saw The Force Awakens. You know, that Star Wars movie we've all been waiting 3 decades for. Paul l-o-v-e-d it! Steve thinks it's because MP already reported that the cool kids liked it. Anyway, the guys talk about Star Wars almost the entire time. With a little Hillary talk thrown in. Another good one, folks.

A hundred years ago this month, tens of thousands of Germans and French troops were killed, wounded, or taken prisoner at the Battle of Verdun during The Great War. A war whose impact to the world is still profoundly felt today. No WWI, no WWII. No WWI, no colonized Middle East. No colonized Middle East, no ISIS. No ISIS, no mormon kid who claims to have "survived" three terrorist attacks. Yeah, it's that kind of episode this week. Funny, poignant, controversial, and sexy.
